In October of 2022, I took on the task of redesigning the Gorge Farmer Collective website with the goal of making it more user-friendly and visually appealing. This project presented several challenges, including organizing a large amount of content and creating an intuitive navigation system. After weeks of research and hard work, the new website was launched to positive feedback from users.
Organizing the content available on the Gorge Farmer Collective site was a major challenge during the website redesign project. With dozens upon dozens of farms and products to showcase, creating a clear and user-friendly navigation system was critical. I spent a significant amount of time categorizing and structuring the content to ensure its logic and ease of use.

While designing the new website, I worked to find the perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality. It was a challenging process that required trial and error, but ultimately, what I created was a clean, modern layout with bold colors and other features, that also achieved in showcasing the amazing work of Gorge Farmers Collective and the many hands it takes to keep it running and efficiently each day.

After the website redesign was complete and launched, the response from users was overwhelmingly positive. Many visitors praised the new design and improved user experience, noting that they found it easier to navigate and discover information about local farmers in the Gorge area. This feedback was incredibly rewarding and reinforced the importance of creating a user-friendly website that effectively showcases the hard work and dedication of the farmers. It was gratifying to know that my efforts had helped support the local farming community and promote their products to a wider audience.
